Sometimes its hard to stick to your Boho roots in the depths of winter, so i wanted to share some of the inspiration i’ll be musing on over the cold season, as well as my 4 Winter rules to live by.
On Friday my stylist and i had the honour of attending fashion week and sat by the runway at the New Generation show. I am happy to report it included a stunning mix of designs from emerging and established Australian designers:
The grey sweatshirt fabric is being used in some interesting ways,
still a lot of pure white and block colouring, Mesh panels, Flesh and skin tones, plenty of zippers and zip off pieces, flamingo Pink was big and i guess we’re still trending on spikes because there was a tonne.
Other notable events:
Betty Tran’s intro vid was very elaborate and gave a sense of class above the other brands.
Zhivago had my attention with pointed shoulders & a tonne of sequins. An extremely edgy and young look that flowed across their day and evening wear with a consistent military theme. Extremely wearable.
To my favourite Aussie model Rachel Rutt who was as beautiful & graceful as ever.
And to Natalie & Sarah who’s personalized lollipops were the highlight of everyone’s gift bag.
Breakfast – Omlette
A hearty, easy and delicious brekky that fills you up for ages! 2 eggs, capsicum, tomato, ricotta cheese, basil, turkey (Use lean white meats and herbs as a great way to make meals even more tasty)
Snack – Home Made Muesli Bar

Lunch – Lunch – Spinach, Grape & Sunflower seed salad
Combine spinach, red grapes: halved, sunflower seeds, and fresh chopped thyme in a large bowl. Drizzle a mixture of 1T vinegar, 1 teaspoons honey, 2 teaspoons of Extra Virgin Olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon seeded mustard & a pinch of salt and pepper over the top.
Snack – 1 boiled egg & Green Tea
Dinner – Kale, potato & beef soup
